Healthier Boozy Hot Chocolate! This is an easy and absolutely delicious homemade hot chocolate made with all vegan and gluten-free ingredients and you have the option to spike things up a bit.
BOOZY HOT CHOCOLATE BABY! This is a beaut and you can use this as a virgin hot chocolate sans alcohol or get things spicy and spike it.
I am hot chocolate obsessed over here so this has been made on repeat ever since the temps dropped below 60 (haha!). And you guys know I’m not a big drinker so I have just been having this sans the alcohol. You don’t need to sub anything – just don’t add it in and you are set.
What ingredients you need to make homemade vegan hot chocolate:
- Non-dairy milk
- Coconut sugar
- Cocoa powder
- Cinnamon
- Dark chocolate (code RACHL)
- Shot of vodka and Kahlúa
- Marshmallows and melted white chocolate if desired
How to a make your own hot chocolate:
- In a mediums saucepan, combine milk, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon and chocolate over medium heat until heated through (about 3 minutes)
- Remove from heat and stir in Kahlúa and vodka (if using)
- Sprinkle marshmallows on top and enjoy while warm!

- 4 squares of dark chocolate (code RACHL)
- Shot of vodka and Kahlúa

Happy Hanukkah Rach! I’ve been sipping raw milk lately even though I typically don’t do dairy and wound up using some up to make and enjoy this. Skipped the marshmallows (too much sugar for me) but DID NOT skip some of your sprinkle biscotti (decorated in holiday colored sprinkles) alongside this beauty and all I can say is ‘match made in heaven’!
