Healthier Paleo Garlic Knots made with all gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients. Using my favorite pizza mix and a few other simple ingredients.
I will tell you one thing this quarantine is good for – forcing me to use all the ingredients I have on hand in instead of going to the grocery store 3x a day – ha!
I was searching the pantry for something earlier this week and saw I had a couple of my favorite pizza dough mixes on hand. My initial thought was to make my 15-minute Homemade Paleo Bagels (gluten-free) or just use it to make pizza. But then I dabbled with the idea of turning this mix into garlic knots and they turned out too dreamy not to share.
I love using mixes like these in a different way and for a recipe you’d least expect. They are also great to keep on hand to whip up recipes easily and Ezra loves these too. I always give him some of my bagels when I make them and turn them into some pizza bagels. Easy and tasty finger food for Ez. Especially when it can keep him occupied or entertained for a bit.
These Paleo Garlic Knots are garlicky, take less than 15 minutes to make and they are absolutely delicious.
Let’s run through what ingredients you will need to whip these up:
- Simple Mills Pizza Dough Mix – I don’t have a substitute for this as it is the main star of the recipe! I will definitely try to test one without the mix soon.
- Egg – I haven’t tested flax egg, but it may work. If you do and it works, please let us know!!
- Olive oil or avocado oil – either works
- Seasonings – garlic powder, basil, Italian seasoning

Thank you for this amazing, easy recipe! I just made with one flax egg as a sub, and it was delicious. Will make again!
