I am obsessed with this recipe guys. It is hands down one of my go-to’s to make for parties, friends, any occasion. They are foolproof and incredibly easy to make. Considering you only need 3 ingredients to make them too. These will become a go-to recipe for you once you make them and see how delicious they are.
I love finding different ways to enjoy the class sandwich cookie besides just the delicious and classic version of dipping it in milk and eating it. And these Oreo marshmallow bars are insanely delicious and insanely easy to prep!
Tip: these are the ULTIMATE bars to make for Oreo lovers everywhere! But you can use any Oreo-like cookie to make them too!
What ingredients you need to make Oreo Marshmallow Bars:
- Gluten-free Oreo-like sandwich cookies or oreo’s – anything you prefer!
- Mini marshmallows – or use a 10.5 ounce bag of regular sized marshmallows too!
- Butter – I haven’t tested this with an oil but a dairy-free butter could work!
How to make marshmallow “oreo” bars:

Spray an 8×8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper

In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows and butter

Melt the marshmallows and butter in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted (about 2 minutes).

Add chopped cookies (reserving ¼ cup for the topping) to the marshmallow mixture and stir well to combine

Pour mixture into the prepared 8×8-inch pan and press into the pan with a spatula

Top with reserved chopped Oreo cookies.

Place pan in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours then slice into 9 bars and enjoy!
Tips for success making Oreo Marshmallow Bars:
- I love that you can use any Oreo-like cookie here. Traditional Oreos, copycat ones like any chocolate sandwich cookie, anything!
- If you want to make these vegan, besides using a vegan sandwich cookie – make sure you use vegan marshmallows and vegan butter as well
- These are an easy no-bake dessert to make for a get together or any occasion and prep the night before or as long as you have 2 hours to do so! They need to set in the refrigerator for 2 hours at least
