These Caramel Apple Slices are such an easy sweet snack for Halloween! Apples on a stick, coated in chocolate, caramel and any toppings you want!

Why does no one talk about how dark chocolate and apples tastes SO good together?! Then again most fruit and chocolate together is just incredibly good.

And these chocolate caramel apple slices? They’re a 12/10 and a recipe I cannot recommend enough. Such an easy snack recipe that has a crunch and sweetness and is so easy to make. You only need 3 ingredients to make them plus any crunchy toppings you want and are craving. Plus these are a great recipe for kids to make too so they can help decorate them.

We served these for friends and everyone loved them. And now Ez requests them nightly for dessert!

Tip: you can get creative with these and use anything you have on hand to make them! Any chocolate and toppings work!

What ingredients you need to make caramel chocolate apple slices:

  • Apples – any apple variety works. I used granny smith and honey crisp!
  • Melted chocolate – dark or milk chocolate works, you can pick your favorite
  • Melted caramel – I used my caramel recipe
  • Any toppings you want: I used coconut flakes, crushed up cookies, peanuts

How to make chocolate caramel apple slices:

  1. Slice apples into 3/4″ thick slices and remove the stem and any seeds (you should get about 4 per apple)
  2. Carefully insert a lollipop stick into the bottom of the apple slices
  3. Place the apples on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper
  4. Dip the apple slices in the chocolate and place on the sheet tray lined with parchment paper
  5. Drizzle caramel on top and sprinkle on desired toppings
  6. Add apples to fridge to set for about 30-60 minutes then enjoy!

Tips for success making these caramel apple slices:

  • You can use any apple variety you prefer here! Granny smith, honeycrisps, your favorite
  • Feel free to use any crunchy toppings you are craving. I love crushed nuts, cookies, coconut flakes, granola, anything!
  • These are also a great recipe to make with kids since they can make their own toppings 🙂
  • These taste best within 3 days or so but I was snacking on them on day 5 too. The apples just get soggier after a few days but still taste great!! You can also freeze them if you want to last longer
