Okay we all know Starbucks knows what’s up when it comes to speaking to our tastebuds. And their spinach feta wrap is a hit with so many. And sure, it is convenient to grab it and go. But it is also incredibly easy to make this at home!

These breakfast wraps are also a great freezer breakfast meal and you will thank yourself on busy mornings for having them prepped in the freezer for an easy meal to heat up.

The Starbucks spinach feta wrap is packed with protein and veggies. They are incredibly flavorful and make for the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast to whip up and take to work.

What ingredients you need to make a copycat Starbucks spinach feta wrap:

  • Sun-dried tomatoes – this is one of the key ingredients in the Starbucks wrap. But if sun-dried tomatoes aren’t your thing, you can omit or use roasted red peppers too. I actually made a sun-dried tomato pesto and use it for this and it was amazing!
  • Olive oil – you can also use avocado oil if you prefer
  • Fresh spinach – I prefer using fresh or frozen spinach and cooking it for just a couple of minutes. You don’t want it overcooked or it may be too watery
  • Egg whites – if you prefer doing whole eggs too you totally can! But the classic version has egg whites only
  • Feta cheese – omg the feta! Feta and eggs in general is one of my favorite flavor combos. It adds saltiness to it and also some fat to the wrap, which is needed since it’s egg whites only
  • Sea salt and black pepper – adjust this to taste
  • Tortillas of choice – okay so I know the # 1 question will be if you can use a gluten-free wrap. And the answer is YES you totally can. But sometimes they are little flimsy and can break so be cautious when folding and make sure they are room temp (not from fridge) because they break easier when cold. If not gluten-free, use whole wheat or regular flour tortillas. 8 to 10-inch tortillas in size work best too.

How to make spinach feta wraps:

  1. Whisk the egg whites together to a bowl and set aside
  2. Warm large skillet over medium heat and sauté the sun-dried tomatoes and spinach in some oil until fragrant then remove from skillet and set aside
  3. Grease skillet again and cook the eggs in a skillet until fluffy and ready. It takes about 3-4 minutes and use a spatula to maintain circle shape with the eggs. Run the spatula under the edges of the egg whites so it doesn’t stick and either flip halfway through or do it more as a fluffy scramble then remove eggs and set aisde
  4. Now time to assemble the wrap, place the wrap in a cutting board and add the spinach and sun-dried tomatoes then eggs on top and feta (place all ingredients as centered as possible and don’t overstuff!
  5. Fold the bottom third of the tortilla up then fold in sides and tuck and wrap
  6. Place the wrap back on the skillet and crisp over medium/low heat for about 2-3 minutes to brown a bit
  7. Remove wrap from skillet, slice in half and enjoy!

FAQs on making copycat Starbucks spinach feta wrap:

  • If you want to use egg yolks as well and not just egg whites, you absolutely can. I wouldn’t make it too bulky and stick to 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites together.
  • Looking to freeze these wraps? When wraps are cold, wrap it in wax paper then place into a freezer safe bag and place in freezer for 3 months. When reheating, remove wraps from freezer and place in oven at 325 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until warm!
  • These wraps are sub-friendly for sure. For example if spinach isn’t your thing, you can use another leafy green like kale or arugula. Not into feta? Use goat cheese or cream cheese.
