Gluten-free Cinnamon Sugar Bagel Bites made with just 2 ingredients then coated in cinnamon and coconut sugar. Plus these are vegan-friendly.

Cinnamon Sugar Bagel Bites

I was walking in the mall the other day and smelled Auntie Anne’s cinnamon sugar pretzels. Needless to say my stomach was going wild and I needed to get my hands on something cinnamon sugar but also not spike my blood sugar with gestational diabetes right now.

These absolutely hit the spot! And they are beyond easy to make. You only need 2 ingredients for the bagel bites then the toppings for the cinnamon sugar coating. And they take 10 minutes to make, are incredibly fluffy and since making these the first time, I have continued to 3 more times. Once I made them savory with everything bagel seasoning too, which I highly recommend trying!

Tip: air fry these or bake them for 10 minutes in the oven! Either way they’ll turn out great.

What ingredients you need to make Cinnamon Sugar Bagel Bites:

  • Yogurt – greek yogurt or non-dairy yogurt works!
  • Gluten-free all purpose flour – or use all purpose flour if not gluten-free
  • Melted butter or vegan butter – either works here!
  • Coconut sugar – you can also use cane sugar if you prefer
  • Cinnamon – this with the coconut sugar makes the cinnamon sugar topping

How to make bagel bites with cinnamon sugar:

  1. Warm air fryer or oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a medium bowl mix the flour and yogurt until combined
  3. Grease a baking sheet and roll a spoonful of dough into a ball then add to sheet and repeat for remaining dough
  4. Bake in oven or in airfryer for 10 minutes or so until golden
  5. Combine the coconut sugar and cinnamon in shallow bowl
  6. Remove from oven and let the bites cool for a few then dip in melted butter then sugar mixture and enjoy!

Tips for success:

  • Use either a creamy greek yogurt or something dairy-free like coconut or almond milk yogurt. You don’t want the yogurt to be too thick but more creamy!
  • If you prefer a savory version – nix the cinnamon sugar and use everything bagel seasoning! But add it onto the dough before baking
  • You can either bake these or put them in an air fryer to cook – either works well
  • These taste best day of in my opinion, but you can eat them within 5 days of making
