This Healthy Pumpkin Dip is incredibly delicious and easy to make. it's gluten-free, can be made vegan and dairy-free and is great for kids too!

This pumpkin dip is one of the easiest and most delicious dips to make for fall! My kids love it, I love it and it only takes 5 minutes to make it.

This is a lighter and healthier version of a cream cheese cool whip based pumpkin dip. I use some yogurt and pumpkin puree and sweeten it with some maple syrup and of course add in some cinnamon for the ultimate spice. You can also add in some pumpkin pie spice too.

I love packing this in my kid’s lunch box with some things for dipping like pretzels, apples, for school. It also works really well as a base for a yogurt breakfast bowl and you can add in some granola and fresh fruit if you want!

This is a great recipe to make for kids for halloween parties, any fall get togethers or whenever you want something pumpkin spice and don’t want to put more than 5 minutes of effort into it. I love using coconut yogurt sometimes and switching things up with a thick greek yogurt too. Either variety works, but I do like to do an unsweetened yogurt of sorts so it doesn’t pack in too much extra sugar.

Tip: make a batch of this to keep in the fridge for an easy snack for you or your kids!

What ingredients are in this healthy pumpkin dip:

  • Thick and creamy yogurt (I like using greek yogurt or coconut yogurt)
  • Pumpkin puree – look for unsweetened pumpkin puree!
  • Maple syrup – or you can use honey or coconut sugar if you prefer too
  • Cinnamon – you can also add in some extra pumpkin pie spice to make this even more pumpkiny if you’d like

How to make pumpkin dip in 5 minutes:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, pumpkin, maple syrup and cinnamon until fully combined
  2. Add to a desired serving bowl if eating right away or store in airtight container for up to 5 days
  3. Serve with desired snacks to dip like pretzels, apple slices and graham crackers!

Tips for success making healthy pumpkin dip:

  • You can use any yogurt you want in this recipe. I personally look for a thick creamy one so it is best for dipping so a greek yogurt or thick coconut yogurt works really well!
  • This can also double as the yogurt for your base for breakfast. My 18 month old loved having this for breakfast with some granola on top and fruit!
  • You can absolutely double or triple this recipe to make a larger batch for a party or get together
  • I love serving this pumpkin dip with pretzels, apple slices and graham crackers. You can use anything you want!
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days
