Like pineapple, watermelon and more. I have a feeling you guys are going to love these as much s who do over here.

What ingredients are in these healthy fruit roll ups:

  • Strawberries, rinsed and cut steams off – fresh not frozen
  • Blueberries, rinsed – fresh not frozen
  • Lemon

How to make homemade fruit leather in the oven:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees
  2. Add the strawberries and blueberries to blender and blend until fully pureed into a liquid of sorts
  3. Pour into a sauce pan and squeeze in the juice from the lemon
  4. Stir together and warm over medium/low heat for 10 minutes, stirring often
  5. Pour mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper like you would when making a bark, making sure it is evenly spread across so it cooks evenly
  6. Add to oven and cook for 4 hours (if you gently press down on the fruit mixture it shouldn’t be mushy)

FAQs about making homemade fruit roll ups:

  • What is the main ingredient in these fruit roll ups? So usually the ones you buy in the store, the first ingredient is a sugar or sweetener of sorts. In my healthy ones, the first and only ingredient is FRUIT!
  • Is this okay to give to my kids? Absolutely! As long as they don’t have allergies to berries or lemon, no reason not to. They absolutely love them and eat them all day.
  • Do you recommend keeping this in the fridge? I personally don’t because it gets hard. This goes fast in our house and it stays for about a week. Granted it has never been here longer than a few days because we devour it!
