This Ravioli Lasagna is the lazy person’s guide to making lasagna with just 3 ingredients. Plus I use gluten-free raviolis too and it is an easy dish to adapt using what you have on hand.

Think of this lasagna as your new go-to weeknight dinner recipe. This lazy ravioli lasagna is made with frozen ravioli, which is a game changer for this. It saves time, money and it is a crowd pleaser in our house. Not to mention the raviolis also already contains the ricotta mixture for the lasagna so you’ll notice ricotta isn’t in the recipe ingredients.

This is an easy lasagna made with ravioli rather than a regular Italian lasagna noodle type. It has all the cheesy flavor you love and elements of lasagna but it’s easier to make and you can also double or triple this recipe to make more servings for a larger group.

Making lasagna has *never* been this easy. And I love how you can add in some grass-fed ground beef, chicken or turkey too if you want to make this heartier or with more protein too.

You won’t need to thaw out the ravioli before making this, which is also helpful so it requires little to no prep effort. And you only need 3 ingredients to make it.

What 3 ingredients are in this Ravioli Lasagna:

  • Frozen ravioli – I used gluten-free cheese – you can use any you want! I also love using a spinach cheese ravioli to get in more veggies
  • Marinara sauce – use your go-to pasta sauce!
  • Mozzarella cheese – I usually buy pre-shredded to save time but you can also grate fresh mozzarella

How to make this easy gluten-free Ravioli Lasagna:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish with cooking spray
  2. Assemble the lasagna by adding a sheet of ravioli to the bottom of baking dish then add a layer of sauce then cheese then more ravioli, sauce and cheese
  3. Continue to layer until ingredient are used
  4. Cover baking dish with tin foil and bake for 30 minutes
  5. Remove foil then bake for another 15 minutes and broil for last minute if desired for crispy cheese
  6. Serve from oven and enjoy!

FAQs on making this 3-ingredient lasagna:

  1. Can I make this ravioli lasagna in a crock pot? Love that idea! You absolutely can. Follow same steps but layer inside crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  2. Can I freeze this meal after baking it? You can! Cut it into serving pieces before freezing so it doesn’t dry out when reheating though. I recommend doing this with the dish cooked too not assembled pre-bake.
  3. Can I add meet to this? I love that idea! Cook ground meat in a pan with the sauce then follow same steps to make the lasagna.
  4. Would fresh ravioli work instead of frozen? The cooking time would be different. I haven’t tried this myself so not sure what it would be.
