  • Gluten-free penne – or any pasta you prefer. I switch up the shape of the noodles using whatever we have on hand!
  • Frozen broccoli florets – these are a staple in my freezer for quick meals like this.
  • Butter – just a little spoonful to make this creamier!
  • Shredded cheese – cheddar cheese works great or you can parmesan cheese. Or you can even do a mix of sorts!

How to make 10-minute broccoli pasta:

  1. Bring a large pot a water to boil and add in the pasta and cook per instructions on box

  3. Strain pasta and broccoli and add back to pot and add in the butter, water and cheese and mix well
  4. Serve while warm!

FAQs on making creamy broccoli pasta:

  1. Can you add in extra protein to this meal too? Absolutely!! Some chicken, meatballs or sausage would be great. Or you can add in some beans as a vegan/vegetarian option.
  2. What makes this pasta creamy if there’s no cream? The mix of the butter and cheese makes this dish creamy and yummy!
  3. Will my kids who hate broccoli eat this? Both of my babies do not like broccoli and never have. For some reason in this pasta dish, they devour it!!
