This was a hot trend on Tiktok not too long ago. And it is one of my favorite things to make for a snack right now. It’s my go-to morning snack when I want something a little sweet but kind of breakfasty still. I love adding some granola and nut butter to it with a little coconut yogurt of sorts. The combination is amazing and it really hits the spot.

I love that this banana split is something that only takes 5 minutes to make to. You don’t need much time to whip it up and it really is one of those snacks that you will crave the next day. And it tastes 10x more indulgent than it really is. My kids are also obsessed with this and now ask for it when they see bananas! It’s been on the daily snack rotation in my house now for weeks.

  • Banana
  • Toppings of choice: granola, nut butter, cinnamon, etc. Or you can do something more desserty like chocolate chips and marshmallows!

How to make a banana split in the air fryer:

  1. Heat air fryer to 400 degrees
  2. Slice a line down the center of your banana (with skin on)
  3. Gently stuff toppings in the center then add to air fryer to cook for 5 minutes
  4. Serve with some yogurt or ice cream on top if desired!

  • How long does it take to make this? It only takes 5 minutes in the air fryer! So fast and easy
  • Can you make this in the oven? I don’t see why not. Try 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or so. The banana should be soft and easy to spoon out of the peel and the peel turns a bit brown.
  • Is this a healthy snack? It can be! I like eating bananas with nut butter and granola like Banana Sushi and this is a fancy version than that in the oven. Plus it’s vegan, gluten-free and I don’t add any other sugar to it.
